Marlins Dive to Victory

Marlins enter the month with a colossal splash, dominating the MLB with such young studs.

Entering today, the Marlins have won 8 out of there last 9 games, especially to top tier teams, including a sweep against the Atlanta Braves, one of the top teams in the NL.

This impressive streak has lead the Marlins to be 3 games over .500 and only a 1/2 game behind the top seed in their division. Most of their success has to do with their impressive young talents like Giancarlo Stanton and Jose Fernandez.

This past month Jose Fernandez was named pitcher of the month at the age of 21!  This is his first year of legal drinking.

Plus Giancarlo Stanton, the ridiculously talented right fielder has blasted the longest and fastest home runs this year, plus is leading the MLB in runners batted in aka RBI.

After starting year streaking going 5-1, the Marlins slowed their gears and began struggling till recently where wins have been clicking for them. In addition, the Marlins now have the best home record in all of baseball and have won 3 out of the last 4 with a game winning run.

Though still early in the season, the Marlins look to have a promising year as they continue to progress as one of the youngest team in the MLB.

  1. This article was not only interesting to read but actually brightened my mood after reading the Marlins have finally been winning consistently. Until this year, I have never been satisfied with the Marlins players' performance but now I'm happy to hear that they're playing well. Your writing was detailed and captivating. Keep up the good work Danny!

  2. I like how you gave us striktly facts to read about. It made me feel like I knew exactly what happened in the game, which I kind of do now. Yet, above all, I really liked your opening sentence, because not only did it refer to the Marlin fish but it made sense to the baseball team entering. Good work!
