Welcome
This blog will be entirely on sports in Florida and the latest updates that occur
The sports that will be covered include, basketball (my favorite), football, baseball, hockey, college sports, soccer and other miscellaneous sports.
Every week i will give a brief update of most florida sports, then present the most important event during the week.
Today's blog shall be about the brawl between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat. Beginning from last year, the Pacers and Heat have been mentioned to be the battle of the Eats because of the exquisite talent and the agonizing aggression, behind Lebron James on the Heat and Paul George on the Pacers.
On Friday, April 11, The Heat and Pacers compete for the last time during the regular season where Indian leads 2-1, but surely not the last time this season (Playoff time!). One notable fact, Miami at the time was trailing the Pacers by 1/2 a game for the top record in the east, and winner would have a promising chance to clinch the top spot with a week of regular season basketball left.
After a relentless battle, where the Heat turned up the temperature (oh so puny), the Heat came out on top 98-86 without Heat all-star Dwyane Wade (18-10 without him), but play with Ray Allen and of course the Birdman coming off injuries. Lebron James had an incredible game with 36 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assist with some help from Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem.
Some notable aspects of the game,
1. Dwyane Wade misses his 9th game in a row with a hamstring injury, or just some rest for the playoffs.
2. Pacers big 7'2'' center Roy Hibbert has been shut out of the game when Miami native Udonis Haslem plays him.
3. Getting 1st in the east is always something to look to for home-court advantage, but in this situation it might not be so true. This is because the 1st seed would have a harder playoff schedule if standings stay as it of today.
4. Udonis Haslem now passes Hall-of-Famer Alonzo Morning for all time leading offensive rebounds in Heat history.

Your blog is very interesting. I like the approach you took and how you aren't biased toward your home team, the Miami Heat. While reading your blog i wasn't bored at all. I also like the "notable aspects of the game" section because if somebody doesn't want to read the whole article he/she could just look at the key points section. ~Neal Benchimol
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very informative and i found it incredibly helpful. I don't watch sports on my own therefore I'm not caught up with the plays. I'll look check in from time to time so I can know what's going on in the "sports industry."
